IV. Teaching procedures
Step 1 Lead-in
Watch a clip of the cartoon series Detective Conan to introduce the kidnapping case.
Learn some new words about kidnapping.
Step 2 Presentation
Task One: Test your ability to search for information
What information is necessary in the notes?
Answer the questions according to the notes.
Task Two: Test your ability to catch information
Listen to the interviews between the police and the suspects and fill in the blanks (A1).
Task Three:Test your ability to organize information
Finish the report on the kidnapping case (A3).
Task Four:Test your ability to act
Discuss with partners and find out the kidnapper.
Step 3 Speak up
Task Two: Test your ability to catch information
Listen to the tape and read the conversation.
Task Five:Test your ability to extend
Discuss in group and give safety tips.
Step 4 Homework
Write an article about safety tips of protecting yourself

一、背景介绍
本节课是英语九年级上册第八单元的侦探故事综合技能课。本节课的目标是让学生能够使用一些新的词汇来表达犯罪相关的相对信息，通过阅读和听力获取有用的信息，并增强自我保护意识。在教学过程中，我通过创设如何成为一名侦探的任务，将听说活动按难度逐级推进，并着重让学生通过阅读和听力获取有用的信息，提高他们的提取信息能力和口语表达能力。
二、具体内容
本节课我设计了五个。首先是通过观看柯南视频的形式，引出本节课的主题——一起绑架案。接着，我通过柯南破案教授新词汇，引导学生是否想成为一名侦探以及认为成为侦探最重要的品质是什么。这些问题旨在帮助学生了解他们对侦探的理解和认知，激发他们的学习兴趣。在此基础上，我引出这堂听说课的五步任务，即Test your ability to search for information，Test your ability to catch information，Test your ability to organize information，Test your ability to act，Test your ability to extend。这些任务中涵盖了听前准备与预测，听中提取与梳理，听后思考与演绎等思维活动，全方位帮助学生提高听说能力和综合素质。
三、教学方法和策略
在本节课的教学过程中，我主要采用了以下教学方法和策略：
1.创设情境：通过如何成为一名侦探的任务，将听说活动按难度逐级推进，让学生在真实的情境中学习语言知识。
2.问题引导：通过问题引导学生思考是否想成为一名侦探以及认为成为侦探最重要的品质是什么，我们生活中会遇到什么危险以及安全提示是什么，激发他们的学习兴趣和好奇心。
3.合作学习：在讨论成为谁是绑架者和安全提示时，我采用了小组合作学习的形式，让学生在小组内进行讨论并分享自己的看法。
4.多媒体辅助：在听力练习中，我使用了多媒体辅助教学，让学生更加清晰地听到录音内容。
5.及时反馈：在教学过程中，我及时对学生的回答和表现进行反馈和评价，帮助他们了解自己的学习情况和不足之处。
四、教学反思与改进
在本节课的教学过程中，我认为自己在以下几个方面做得好：
1.能够根据教学内容和学生的实际情况，合理安排教学流程和时间。
2.能够运用多种教学方法和策略，激发学生的学习兴趣和好奇心。
3.能够注重培养学生的提取信息能力和口语表达能力。
4.能够及时对学生的回答和表现进行反馈和评价，帮助他们了解自己的学习情况和不足之处。
但是，我也意识到本节课存在一些不足之处。例如，在引导学生进入教学难点时，我的引导方式还不够自然流畅；在小组合作学习中，有些学生参与度不够高，需要我更加关注并给予适当的引导和支持；在听力练习中，有些学生还存在听不懂的情况，需要我加强听力训练并给予更多的支持和帮助。
