By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. learn about the work of UNICEF and some basic background knowledge;
2. catch the key points from the listening materials;
3. learn to talk to the doctor about problems.

本节公开课为八年级下册第七单元Integrated skills,围绕UNICEF这一国际慈善机构展开。整节课以视频作为导入,让学生完成一个问答题引出UNICEF,其次完成填空了解UNICEF的职能。其次,让学生在听和写的过程中了解更多有关UNICEF的信息,并让学生思考:作为学生,我们可以做什么来支持UNICEF?最后,由Speak up部分引导学生了解孩子有什么权利以及如何实现这些权利。
此次公开课还有需要改进的地方:
1. 应基于大单元教学,将课时目标的设定更加整体化、目标化。
2. 对于语言目标的设定应增加难度梯度。从学生课堂表现来看,可以增加一些语言表达的难度。所增加的难度部分不要求所有孩子会说,但是可以体现在老师的课堂用语上。
3. 学生活动方式可以更多元。本次课堂所设计的教学活动较为单一,多以讨论、对话为主。
