Teaching Aims:

After this lesson ,students are able to :

1. To understand some elements of the detective stories.

2. To read notes on four suspects and decide which suspect is most likely to be guilty.

3. To discuss who is most likely to be the murderer.

Teaching Procedure:

Step 1. Warm-up

Free talk

  1. Do you know the detectives around the world? Who are they?

    2. What does a detective usually do?

    Step2 . Presentation.(comic strip)

  2. Watch and answer.

  3. Why is Eddie dressed like that?

  4. What happened to Eddie?

    2. Read and answer.

    (1) According to Eddie, what is a detective ?

    (2) Read after the tape.

    (3) Act it out.

    (4) Retell the story.

    3. Further thinking.

    What is a real detective like?

    He should be/have _________.

    Step 3. Presentation.(Welcome to the unit)

    Pair work: What questions does the police ask the suspect?

    Why is he suspected

  6. Discuss:

    Who is lying?

    Who isn't telling the truth?

教学反思

今天上课的内容是初三英语上册第八单元的welcome,在今天的课堂上,学生更多发言和表达意见的机会。通过组织小组讨论和对话等形式,学生表达关于凶手是谁的猜想,通过激励学生更加积极地参与课堂活动,帮助提升他们的思维能力和表达能力。学生可以很好地分享和交流各自的观点,提高整体的学习效果。通过学生的互动,及时解答他们的疑问,以提高课堂教学的有效性。

为了提升课堂教学效果,我在备课时规划每个环节的时间分配。通过明确每个教学步骤的时间需求,我可以更好地控制课堂进度,避免时间不足或过长的情况,确保每个知识点都能得到充分讲解和练习。
   课整体思路清晰,环节紧凑,重点突出。学生对推理部分内容的兴趣比较高,通过在教学设计中加入更多趣味性和互动性元素,提升学生的参与度和学习兴趣。并且通过多种教学手段,有效提升学生的思维品质接下来继续加强对学习策略的引导,帮助学生培养学习的习惯和能力提升思维
