【教学目标】

(1). To understand clues about a crime.

(2). To read notes on for suspects and decide which suspect is most likely to be guilty

(3). To develop the students ability of reasoning.

Teaching steps

Step1 Lead-in

T: Do you like reading detective stories? Why?

T: Do you know the man in the picture? Who is he?

Ss: He’s Sherlock Holmes.

T: Sherlock Holmes is a famous detective created by Arthur Conan Doyle.

He is very clever and has a wide knowledge of different things.

Show pictures of Conan ,Baozheng, Di Renjie .

Say : They are all famous detectives ,they are good at finding out some clues.

Step2 Presentation

T: What qualities should a detective have?

Watch a video and talk about this question in pairs

After discussion, students should know : A detective should be _________.

Step3 Activity : Who is the murderer ?

Last Saturday night at 8 p.m. , a young man was murdered in Sun Town. The police found four suspects

公开课反思

10)郑玉婷

本人参加校级的公开课,在准备课件过程自己也在设想上课要注意的问题和教学目标的完成度。教学结果虽然不是很理想,但是还是非常感激丁老师和教研组的老师们的指导和帮助。今后要多多学习和请教有经验的老师了。通过这次公开课,我想两个方面的课堂教学反思和体会:(1)在单词导入 中有些活动是否可以简化,问答题过多。(2)在讨论环节不够精彩, 如果采用口述讨论,回答的学生很少。其实阅读课可以让学生展示最后的讨论结果,也许会更加好。
