Step 1 Warming up
1. Enjoy a short video: What can you learn from this video?
2. Learn some new words.
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Watch a video.
2. Answer two questions.
1) What are they talking about?
2) What is the famous saying?
Step 3 While-reading
1. Read Line 1-6 and do the T or F statements.
2. Listen to Line 7-9 and complete the chart.
3. Read Line 10-22 and fill in the form.
4. Read Line 23-26 and answer the questions together.
Step 4 Post-reading
1. Show the mind map for revision.
2. Share other sayings.
3. Discuss in groups about Chinese manners.
Step 5 Affective education
Step 6 Homework
1. Read the interview and retell it.
2. Search for manners in different countries.
公开课反思
初二(9)郑玉婷
本人参加校级的公开课,在准备课件过程自己也在设想上课要注意的问题和教学目标的完成度。教学结果虽然不是很理想,但是还是非常感激丁老师和教研组的老师们的指导和帮助。今后要多多学习和请教有经验的老师了。通过这次公开课,我想两个方面的课堂教学反思和体会:(1)在while-reading 中有些活动是否可以简化,问答题过多。(2)在讨论环节post-reading, 如果采用口述讨论,回答的学生很少。其实阅读课可以让学生展示最后的讨论结果,也许会更加好。
